Gyeongsangbukdo
Bonghwa Pavilion Culture Center opened its doors in July 2020 as a tourist attraction themed around traditional towers and pavilions in Oesam-ri, Bongseong-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. There are Nujeong Exhibition Hall, which helps guests understand the history and culture of traditional towers and pavilions, a rest area, and a lawns around the center. Guests can get hands-on experience of the traditional culture of nujeong staying in Solhyangchon that offers ten guest rooms. The guest rooms are largely divided into pension units and guest rooms. The pension units are entire buildings that can accommodate up to eight guests. There are five pension units: Yongmaru, Dancheong, Juryeon, Seoggarae, and Daedeulbo. The pension units have a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. In particular, each pension unit has a self-contained kitchen fully equipped with kitchen facilities including a refrigerator, and a microwave. There are five guest rooms where cooking is not possible. The rooms have a two-story structure with two bed rooms and two bathroom. Each room can accommodate up to seven guests. Although cooking is not possible, each room has a refrigerator, a microwave, and an electric kettle for simple meals. Guests can use barbecue grills for free in the barbecue area. However, gridirons and charcoals must be provided by the guests. Firewood cannot be used for grilling. The guest rooms do not have bath towels. Nearby attractions include Changpyeong Forest Park, Dadeok Mineral Spring Tourist Area, and Munsusan Recreational Forest.
