Jewangsan Mountain is an 840m high mountain located in Eoheul-ri, Seongsan-myeon and Wangsan-ri, Wangsan-myeon. It is the highest peak in the Nanmaek to the east of Daegwallyeong. It is said that King U of the late Goryeo Dynasty came here, built a castle, and took refuge here. Stones and tiles from the embankment can still be found. Neunggyeongbong is a 1,123m tall mountain located between Wangsan-ri, Wangsan-myeon, Obong-ri, Seongsan-myeon, and Hoenggye-ri, Doam-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun. It is the highest peak south of Daegwallyeong. There is Yeongcheon at the top of the mountain, where prayers for rain were held, and it is said that Ulleungdo can be seen from this peak on a clear day.
