Seonyu 1-gu Port is the central fishing port of Seonyudo, an island where immortals are said to have roamed in the unexplored natural scenery. It has Seonyu 1-gu Port, 2-gu Port, and 3-gu Port. With the construction of the Saemangeum seawall, Seonyudo became a land island and access to Seonyu Port became possible by car. If you cross Seonyudaegyo Bridge from Munyeodo Island and turn left at the intersection, you can see Seonyu 1-gu Port and a quiet fishing village. This is also a section of Gugu 8-gil Gogunsan-gil (Course B). You can also enjoy fishing around the peaceful port where fishing boats are anchored, and you can catch mackerel, mackerel, octopus, sea bream, and cuttlefish. There is a well-established coastal trail where people of all ages can comfortably take a walk along the coast from the village, and you can also go down to the coastal rocks along the way. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks, the columnar joints, strangely shaped rocks, and the sea scenery of Gogunsando make me stop in my tracks. The village has sea-view bed and breakfasts, pensions, supermarkets, and restaurants.
