The National April 19 Cemetery at the foot of Samgaksan Mountain (Bukhansan Mountain) is where the 224 people who sacrificed their lives during the April 19 Revolution of 1960 while fighting against the power that carried out the March 15, 1960 election rigging are buried, and a memorial tower has been built to commemorate them. At the center of the monument is an engraved gate commemorating those who died righteously.
