玉浦大勝利記念公園は、壬辰倭乱 (1592 ～ 1598 年) の玉浦海戦で李舜臣将軍が初勝利したことを記念して 1996 年に建設されました。訪問者は記念塔と玉浦パビリオンに登って、遮るもののない玉浦湾の景色を前方に眺めることができます。公園にはタワーとパビリオンに加えて、李提督を祀った神社もあります。
