明洞主教座堂是首尔总教区的教堂，也是韩国罗马天主教会的发源地。教堂内保存着几位人士的遗骸：主教洛朗·约瑟夫·玛丽·安伯特（1796-1839 年）、牧师彼得·西蒙（1803-1839 年）、詹姆斯（雅克·奥诺尔·查斯坦，1803-1839 年）和普尔蒂·让·安托万·查尔斯（1830-1866 年）和四位烈士。
明洞天主教堂位于首尔市中心，经常有游客前来参观。大教堂附近还有其他旅游景点，如保留韩国传统房屋的南山谷韩屋村、俯瞰首尔的 N 首尔塔以及出售各种食品和商品的传统市场南大门市场。 |
