大陵苑群内有一座于1973年发掘的天马冢。天马冢是在用巨石和泥土堆砌的地下墓室内放置木棺，是典型的新罗时期上层阶级坟墓。该土丘的 x_高度为 12.7 米，直径为 50 米，由一层从溪流中收集的岩石组成。岩层下方是一个木室，长6.5米，宽2.1米，x_高达到2.1米，木棺位于其中央。墓内共出土了 11,526 件文物，其中包括《天马图》，这是韩国首次从古墓中出土的艺术品，被认为具有很高的价值。
