太宗台懸崖海岸是由許多層岩石在白堊紀時期在湖下擠壓在一起形成的，然後隨著時間的推移被海水侵蝕。海岸有許多地質構造，包括海蝕洞和形狀獨特的岩石。遊客可以在森林小路上漫步，或搭乘火車輕鬆前往太宗台展望台和影島海岸文化空間。
