Description of art	Lee has expanded his narratives by shifting his focus from reconstruction of images in masterpieces in his early years to outside of the screen by presenting new beings. “Portrait of Gogh & the Story about Ant” (2010) features the story of ants removing a self-portrait of Van Gogh and carrying it to another place. Meanwhile visitors sitting under the painting in the museum do not recognize what is happening at all. The portrait of Van Gogh, completely removed from the frame and moved to a different place, lies in a whole new context with the aura of the original work deprived?just like other masterpieces in Lee’s videos. Thereby, the work raises the question about the originality and reproduction, one of the important issues in contemporary art.
