Description of art on the skin, to reveal invisible tattoos, more deeply inscribed and more potent on our minds. To him, skin, the most outer layer of our body, serves as protection for the internal organs as well as an open surface in direct contact with one’s surroundings. In his work, the skin, tattooed with corporate logos like Starbucks, Adidas, or Gucci, representing sophisticated lifestyles, or emblems of political parties or collective cultures like that of Red Devil, or the Marine Corps, has lost its function or beauty. And all bodies are headless. In “Bird Land_Lacoste” (2013), the bodies tattooed with several social icons, but without faces?imperative part of showing one’s identity?reveal a reality where people are being examined by such social icons inscribed on their skin.
