Description of art	“Memories of the Twentieth Century” (1999) realistically depicts a photograph of a Western-style wedding ceremony in the early 20th century. The fabric flowing down on the floor that emerges from the image does not contain the figures in their time and space, but links them to the present by helping them be reborn as new beings living and sharing the same time and space with viewers. Consequently, this work inspires the audience to rethink the concepts of marriage and family.
