Ungyosan Mountain (922m) boasts outstanding rock ridges between Oeryong-ri, Hadong-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, and Nokjeon-ri, Jungdong-myeon. It is a mountain with a tall, rugged mountain, and is an unexplored mountain with rock ridges and old pine trees in picturesque harmony. Among the mountains in Yeongwol-gun, the altitude is not high, but the view is excellent and it boasts a natural scenery that well reflects the name of the mountain itself. The parent mountain of Ungyosan Mountain is Baekdudaegan Hambaeksan Mountain (1,573m), which branches to the west, passes through Baekunsan Mountain (1,426m) and Duwibong Mountain (1,466m), and branches south between Yemisan Mountain (989m) and Manggyeongdaesan Mountain (1,089m). Ungyosan Mountain is a mountain that stands tall like a dragon, with its ridge blocked by Okdongcheon Stream. The essence of Ungyosan Mountain can only be felt when you climb to the top. The view from the top is exquisite, making you feel as if you have entered a huge oriental painting, with saw-tooth rock hills and dead old pine trees that run steeply toward Nokjeon-ri.

The hike to Ungyosan Mountain begins at Jebi Village. A full-scale hike takes place along the valley next to Jebi Village. If you walk along the valley road filled with uneven rubble for about 20 minutes and follow the Jiji Line that extends to the left side of the valley, you will arrive at a low col where a power transmission tower stands. From here, you can reach the main ridge by climbing the ridge path overgrown with azaleas and oak trees for about 30 minutes. If you climb the main ridge for about 30 more minutes, where azaleas throughout the year and colonies of cypress, a symbol of cutting, continue to appear and beautiful oak trees cover the sky, you will arrive at the summit of Ungyosan Mountain, which has a cliff of dozens of paths.
