The entire village is a farming village surrounded by citrus fields, and it is also a fishing village with Wimi Port, a first-class fishing port. There is an uninhabited island called 'Jigwido' floating in the ocean off the coast. This island is not only a 'sea farm' where village haenyeo collect seafood all year round, but it is also designated as one of the few tourist fishing grounds in the entire Jeju Island, so outsiders can go scuba diving or spear diving. In addition, this village has a small marine park where you can enjoy basketball, foot volleyball, etc., and near the village is the Namwon Great Owl, which is considered the best coastal scenic spot in Jeju Island. It is easy to get to because the circuit road between Seogwipo and Seongsanpo passes through the middle of the village.
