Basalt, one of Jeju's unique natural resources, is characterized by large and small holes created through volcanic activity. Seokbujak is a work of art created by planting orchids and wild flowers on basalt. As time goes by, the sight of green life growing and taking root in the water accumulated in each hole is awe-inspiring. The process of green roots winding and embracing a rough rock is a thrill of life that only nature can give.
The Seokbujak Museum displays wild flowers and bonsai works that can only be found in Jeju, such as fern orchids, bokbokcho, furorchids, bamboo orchids, perennial lycophytes, Halla clouds, and stone maples. It respects the natural nature of Jeju as much as possible and provides a place to experience the wild fields and oreums. It is a Jeju-style ecological garden where you can fully feel the vitality of living things.
