The armed communist infiltration route, located 3.5km southwest of Gorangpo, is where Kim Shin-jo and 30 others from the North Korean Army's 124th Army crossed the southern limit and infiltrated at 23:00 on January 17, 1968. At the time, North Korea had Kim Shin-jo and 30 other armed secretaries infiltrate Seoul on January 21, 1968, intending to blow up the presidential residence (Blue House), assassinate key figures, and destroy major institutional facilities. However, at around 21:00 on January 19, 1968, a woodcutter living in Beopwon-ri, Paju City reported it, and a joint military-police operation to eradicate armed communists was carried out from January 20 to January 30, 1968, resulting in 29 casualties, 1 escapee, and 1 person running away. Although one person arrested (Kim Shin-jo) had a criminal record, the damage to our military and police was considerable.

Currently, at the armed guerrilla infiltration route, a model of the armed guerrilla who infiltrated through the barbed wire fence and barbed wire installed by the US 2nd Division's barrier line guard unit stationed here at the time is being created and displayed. As of October 1, 1999, the military unit in charge partially relaxed access control to the northern area of ​​the Civilian Control Line, allowing tours by prior application.
