The ‘S’ of the Namdo Marine Tourist Train S-train, which connects Yeongnam and Honam, symbolizes the initials of the English letter ‘Sea’, the curved Gyeongjeon Line, and the shape of the southern coast, a rias-style coast. It is a marine tourist train that allows you to enjoy the Namdo maritime region. The exterior of the train is modeled after Admiral Yi Sun-sin's turtle ship, which guarded the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula. There are five carriages: car 1 is a healing room, car 2 is a family room, car 3 is filled with a cafe room and a couple's room, and car 4 is where you can experience a tea ceremony. Lastly, it consists of car number 5, which also serves as a leisure sports room and event room.
