5.18 記念公園は、5.18 民主化運動を記念して設立されました。公園内には、5・18図書館、5・18文化会館、教育会館、大同広場、五月台タワーなどの記念彫刻や記念碑など、さまざまな歴史文化施設が整備されている。この公園には無岳寺や散歩道もあります。
