松山里古墳と武寧王(在位462年～523年)の王陵には百済時代(234年～678年)の代表的な遺物が収められています。松山里古墳には百済の首都が公州であった時代の王の墓があり、17基あると考えられている。これまでに発見された墓は7基のみ。墓のデザインには、伝統的な百済式の岩石と土塁を用いた築城墓と、中国の影響を受けた岩石墓の 2 種類があります。最初の 5 つの墓は伝統的な百済様式のデザインを使用して作られ、6 番目の墓と武寧王の王陵は中国の影響を受けたデザインを使用して作られました。多くの遺物が墓から盗まれましたが、この墓は百済文化と当時の外国交流を示す重要な証拠となっています。
