餘佐川週邊地區是鎮海賞櫻的最佳地點之一。 MBC電視劇《浪漫》(2002年)中的兩位主角冠宇和彩媛作為來到鎮海參加鎮海軍港祭的遊客第一次見面的地點就是這座橋。該劇播出後，這座橋立即走紅，被人們稱為「浪漫橋」。每年四月，整個鎮海市都開滿了櫻花，但餘佐川地區的櫻花最為美麗，成為主要的旅遊景點。
