和順恐龍足跡遺址是1999年在為建設和順溫泉區進行土地測量時發現的。韓國發現的恐龍足跡大多位於海南、寶城等城市的沿海地區，因此在全羅南道內陸地區的發現尚屬首次。這裡的指紋大多來自白堊紀的肉食恐龍。該遺址因有至少五種不同恐龍的足跡而聞名，也是最長的足跡和恐龍精確運動的最直接例子之一。一種恐龍的足跡是世界上最長的，長達 40 公尺。根據足部尺寸20-22厘米、步幅約90厘米，推測這些腳印是由身高4-5米的庫拉鱷形成的。除了犬食性恐龍外，還發現 12 種草食性恐龍的足跡以及植物化石。這些植物為草食恐龍飲食的研究提供了很大幫助。
