青山（靑山）這個名字的意思是周圍的一切──山、海、天──都是藍色的。青山島是距離全羅南道莞島19.2公里的風景優美的小島，是多島海最南端的島嶼。島東臨巨文島，西臨松安島，南臨濟島，北臨神芝島。青山島於1981年12月23日被指定為多島海海上國家公園的一部分，並於2007年12月1日被指定為亞洲第一個慢城市。就越美麗。同樣，該島也被韓國旅遊發展局和 CNN 評選為必去旅遊景點之一。島上也擁有寶貴的農業資產——梯田。
