维峰寺位于无极门（彩虹门）和维峰村之间，是湖南地区的一座主要寺庙，曾经管辖着 52 个分寺。据说是由西岩和尚于 604 年（百济武王 5 年）建造的，现存的建筑可以追溯到朝鲜时代。如今仅存普光明殿（宝物第608号）、与舍（省文化遗产第698号）、三成阁。尤其是白龟冠壁画是寺院的骄傲。
