JEJU-DO WEATHER
Cheonjeyeon Waterfall is said to have come to be called Cheonjeyeon (天帝淵), God's Pond, because the seven fairies who serve the Jade Emperor come down in the middle of the night under the whispering starlight, blowing a jade flute on a brilliant purple cloud bridge, play with seaweed in the clear water, and then climb up. The sight of a three-tiered waterfall falling through a dense subtropical forest is truly spectacular. It falls from the first waterfall, forming a 21m deep pond, and this water flows into the sea again through the second and third waterfalls. In particular, tooth-aching cold water pours down from the ceiling of the rock cave on the east side of the cliff where the first waterfall falls. Since ancient times, many people have visited Baekjung and Cheoseo because it is said that all diseases will disappear if they are bathed in this water, but swimming is now prohibited. In the Cheonjeyeon Valley, there is an arched bridge called 'Seonimgyo' carved with beautiful seven fairy statues and a pavilion called 'Cheonjeru', which further enhances the surrounding scenery.

In the subtropical forest around Cheonjeyeon, even in Jeju Island, there is a pavilion called 'Cheonjeru'. Pine needle orchids, one of the rarest plants, grow naturally, and evergreen trees such as dandelion tree, Japanese cypress tree, sycamore tree, Japanese oak tree, thorn tree tree, birch tree, and ginseng tree, as well as peugeot tree and hackberry tree form a mixed forest. Vines such as wind-backed kudzu, masak grass, Schisandra chinensis, and king moram grow in abundance, shrubs such as the Japanese apricot tree and Baeknyanggeum, and ferns such as the stone plant, three-horned stone plant, one-leafed tree, and rock hand grow in dense harmony and are well preserved. The dampal tree on the rock wall west of the first waterfall has high academic value in terms of plant geography and has been separately designated as a local monument. About 20 dampal trees grow wild in the Cheonjeyeon Valley, which is designated and protected as one of Hallasan Mountain's natural conservation areas. br />
* Seonmyeong Bridge

On both sides of Seonmyeong Bridge, the first in Korea to be decorated in the unique Ojakgyo shape, there are beautiful Chilseonyeo statues carved based on the legend of the Chilseonyeo, and 100 railings at night. In between, 34 stone lanterns are lit, creating a unique atmosphere for those walking along the Bridge of the Seven Fairies.
